I have an adult Monstera that I've had for a few years and I JUST repotted it to a larger pot so I could it stake it upwards, cause it was growing sideways.
Anyway, I was just adjusting the velcro tape so that it wasn't on the stem of a leaf and the main internode (is that the correct terminology?) broke. It must've been dried out at the node for quite a while, cause I barely touched it.
At least one large aerial root is embedded in the soil and there are 5 large and seemingly healthy leaves coming off of it.
What do I do? Anything? Will it continue to grow because it has roots embedded in the soil even though the main "branch" isn't connected to the rest of the plant anymore?
