Hi wonderful plant people! I purchased my first monstera from Trader Joe's about two months ago. I repotted a month or so ago into a (probably) larger pot than I should have, but she seems happy. She gets morning east facing direct sun and has had a lot of new leaf growth in the last few weeks.

My questions are:

  1. I think there are three plants in one pot. I'm fine with keeping them together, but wondering if I should introduce a moss pole soon and if so, is it possible to train the three plants to climb the one pole? Or should I do two poles?
  2. When should I consider cutting off lower, yellowing leaves (see pictures)?
  3. Do new leaves with fenestrations = a happier plant, or is it just luck of the draw?
  4. In general, do you think she looks happy/healthy? Any suggestions on what I could do better?

Thank you all so much for your help! This community has been so wonderful to read through for a first timer like me.

Taken yesterday, July 23rd.

Taken June 24th, right after repotting.

Taken a month later, yesterday, July 23rd. Stems are not always facing this way, I had moved the pot to take the photo.

Taken yesterday, up close of the root/lower part of the plants.

Another view. Taken yesterday, up close of the root/lower part of the plants.

And just for fun... a shot of the three new leaves coming in! :)
