Took on Namielle with help, then decided what the hell and went after Ruiner Nergi, had an 3 players helping.

We finally won, and the cut scenes played out.

I was surprised to see the IG player still there after everyone else left.

We took on SI with our palicos, both of us carting once, but I ate for insurance, and we beat it comfortably,(only peed myself once) I just pretended I was fighting Xeno.

So I'm at the guiding lands much earlier than I thought I would ever be, and I'm really thankful to the player who sat through all the cutscenes to beat it with me.
