Adventure sync not working for months now

Like the title says, my adventure sync has not been working in atleast the past 3 months. I am playing on a pixel 6.
I reinstalled the game, made sure it has all the permissions, yet my driftstones don't progress while the game is closed and my palico has not brought me any items either.
Has anyone had the same issues and found a fix ? Thankful for every help.
