After grinding A LOT, I've finally achieved the setup I've been going for!
I think this is very similar to most meta bow builds, but for whomever interested. The build is:
-Rathalos Helm -Rathalos Mail -Kulu Vambraces -Rathalos Coil -Kulu Greaves -Diablos Bow
This build focuses on stacking attack boost and affinity, while giving you focus as a dps boost. I've been considering swapping the Kulu Greaves for the Jiro ones to stack even more focus. So far this has been working great up to 7* hunts.
Lastly, if for any reason the dev team is reading this... PLEASE allow us to play remotely with our friends!!! You have created an amazing gameplay experience, does it need polishing? Of course, but the core gameplay is both challenging and rewarding. Thank you for a great game and I hope to see it grow!!
