So I've always wanted to try bow and after a few hunts with it early on I finally decided to sit down and build something out. The main idea is Cera Coilbender with an Elementless Deco and the ability to easily flex between Normal and Spread shot. I wanted to avoid DP builds for something mobile and consistent with DPS. Nothing wrong with DP builds, they're just not my style.
Anyway, here's page 1 and 2 of the skills and the decos. Looking for feedback on ways to improve it. I've already thought of several improvements that mostly rely on decos I don't have and I'll explain those as well.
The 3 health boost decos are pure placeholders at the moment and I've been moving through various QoL things to see what I like. As I get them those will be replaced with most likely Attack Boost and Crit Eye. The only decos that are crucial for anyone trying to do something similar are the tenderizer and and Elementless. The legs swap between Laviosoth for spread shot and Diablos Nero for Normal based on whether I'm soloing or in a group.
As far as improvements, I've considered swapping the Kushala Gloves for Kaiser which loses Evade Window but gains am open level 2 slot. I just don't have any decos worth going in there at the moment, but if you don't have a tenderizer deco you can make this swap to get WE3.
Once I have better slot 1 decos I'm considering swapping the gloves for Vaal Hazaak B for another rank of Peak Performance and 3 1 slots that could go to attack boost or crit eye.
If I can pick up decos for Normal Shot and Pierce the legs become a slot I can move to something else depending on what other decos I have.
I'm fairly new to bow but enjoying playing with this build so far. I'd love to hear from people more proficient with the weapon to improve this setup.
