Dusted off the ol' copy of MH3U and lemme tell you, hunters, I sorely missed the classic MonHun experience. I love the attention to detail. I love the cornucopia of items. I love that you are just some hunter and not "our villages only hope". The dialog is intimate and unique. The setting and atmosphere is authentic and comfortable. Its spirit is impetuous and fun. The music is out of this world. Reminded me of why I fell in love with the series in the first place. As much as I love some of the combat and map navigation changes that Rise introduced, the amount of cut content makes the experience less of what makes the main series so charming. If you have only ever played Rise/World you should definitely try MH3U, MH4U or MHGU. It's a wildly different experience. I hope that Capcom does not abandon the classic MonHun series.
