Hello all,

I hope someone here may be able to make a suggestion to help my situation.

Basically, I want to try to play through MHW, as I have played a bit of it and it does seem very fun once I get the hang of the mechanics and what not (started with Rise and Gen Ultimate on Switch). The problem comes in with the barely decipherable (for me) text for the quests and in some other areas. I don't have the option to sit up closer to the TV to see clearer, and it is such a big deal to me that it's actually put me off of the game, which I'm actually a little bummed about. Looking through threads from around when it released, it seems there were quite a few people who had issues with this as well. Are there any suggestions on things I can do with the game or TV to make this text more readable? I've tried:

-Making the text the largest font I can in game

-Messing around with the contrast and brightness filters (note I'm playing on base PS4, if that matters)

-Tries adjusting the brightness on the TV itself. I may try to mess with the contrast on the TV next

I realize this may be a lost cause, but just wanted to see if anyone else maybe solved or got around this issue. Thanks!
