Returning to MHW after a long time, progression lance help

Returning to MHW after a hiatus (young kids and concentrating on MH was near impossible). Jumping back in with Lance (previously played Switch Axe and some Hammer) and would love a little help on what i should be aiming for as i get acquainted with a new weapon and returning to the game.

On my previous save I'm currently up to Teostra, but I'm a long way off starting off there until i can get familiar with the game again. I also have Iceborn, not that it matters at my point in the game.

Any particular gear i should be aiming for at my stage of the game?
