It all started back in 7th grade(Murica) and my still best friend let me play Monster Hunter Freedom on his PSP.

I was hooked.

I then went and got myself a PSP and MHF. I started to play nonstop, in school, at home, in the car, everything else was pushed to the side. I was awful. I barely managed to kill my first Yian Kut-Ku with my puny sword. But it was my sword (Deathprize!), and it was my kill. I then went on to slowly fight larger creatures. Then one day, I see a little speech bubble over the chief's head. He had a task for me, my first Rathalos. I was scared, but I stomached my fear and muscled all my courage, prepared all my potions, and departed.

It was an epic fight, I struggled through and managed to dodge...most attacks. But my heart sank as i fainted, no more 150 health for me. I then went and took extremely too much care.

Five minutes remain.

I rushed and took sooo many stupid hits. But then, a chance, he was paralyzed, thank you deathprize! I placed my Large barrel bombs and kicked them. He died. I felt my heart race and everyone in the room knew I had been victorious. From there I made it my quest to don his flesh. And it happened, I made armor and weapons from his flesh and slowly got better, each run better than the last. I slowly took on the other monsters until, I see another speech bubble.

It was the Lao Sho lung.

I felt my heart race as the cut-scene shown this massive beast. I managed to kill him.

I had came and conquered. It only took 500 hours.

About a week later my friend told me about a new Monster Hunter. Monster Hunter Freedom 2.

I needed it.

It fell and died.

I had won the battle, but I was prepared for war. I went in again, and again....and again. Until finally I had donned all its flesh and teeth. I felt like a true hunter. From there I went to the guild and plowed through low rank. Then me and my friend began our high rank quest. We managed to rip through the first rank, then we tackled the Gao moren and Lao sho lung. But then, I saw a new target after getting my High Rank tigerex armor.

The Akantor.

I needed it. We once again prepared as best we could for another epic fight, but we were not ready. We departed for the fight and nearly shat ourselves. It was huge and could one-shot us. We somehow managed to kill it and I managed to make its armor.

That was it for MHF2, 1000 hours in and I was done. ಠ_ಠ But then cam another challange, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, and the Nargacuga.

Me and my friend rushed to get the game and started to play the new village quests. We tore through most of them, but then we faced the Nargacuga and hit a wall, it took us a few days to manage and kill him. It was painful. But now we had finished the village and now we wanted to once again finish the guild . We cleared through the new guild quests and managed to kill the Hypnoc for G-rank. By this point we had 200 hours in MHFU.

But then a horrible thing happened.

My friends brother put a virus on our psp's because he downloaded gay porn ಠ_ಠ

After this we played some Monster Hunter Tri on our wiis and probably played that for 100 hours, but lets be honest, that game was wayyyy to short.

We had tried to restart, we made it to the end of High rank and then we got wind of Monster hunter 3 Ultimate.(another 300 ish hours between some saves)

We both saved up and got a 3ds and MH3U. We were hooked again, and so was our other friend. We tore through the game and made it to G-rank in only like 300 hours. We had a blast and made it though all of G-rank and conquered everything. We ended up trying to make every armor and it didn't go to well with certain armors but still. After 500 hours in MH3U we were burnt

And here we are again. I have 3000 hours invested in Monster Hunter, and even though I have so much time logged. I am a giddy little school girl once more.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

I have been waiting for months and its finally here, I can once again begin a new Monster Hunter Journey and slay thousands of beasts. Its been too long Monster Hunter, I'm glad to be back.

TL;DR - I play monster hunter waaaay too much but because of that destroyed each monster in my path. From shit to good its been one hell of a ride, and its not even close to over.
