I almost never really explore the map when I play (ashamed of myself I know) cuz I don't really have a ton of time to play so I gotta spend each minute wisely which means mostly zooming to the monster and killin it.
Feelin bad about that I decided to explore the volcano and found the Phoenix on my first go around. Thought it was cool. Snapped some pics and then the thing flew away before I could grab it or whatever. Everytime I've been to the volcano since I've checked and it's not there. And I don't remember what quest I was on when it was there.
Like... I want spoilers but also I don't so 🤷♂️
