I like hunting (in Rise, my first MH game) the most when I take things slow. Do some gathering, explore the maps, looking for secrets, watching the monsters from a distance and finally of course fighting them.

However, on this subreddit I read that World puts way more emphasis on these immersive kind of aspects of a hunt (like tracking down a monster) when compared to Rise.

So, I was wondering if I would enjoy World more when compared to Rise. Also, how are the older games regarding immersion? Before I buy another MH I would like to have some advise 😉. Thanks in advance.

PS: I have a switch and ps4 and an standard windows laptop (possibly for emulating older titles?)
