My mom doesn’t understand my collection and it hurts

Post Body

Today I asked my mom what she thought of my doll shelf, I recently cleared of a large shelf to display my dolls.

I asked what she thought and if it was missing something or if the order I put my dolls in looked good. She said “honestly, it looks like to much. There’s to much.”

I know she was talking about my collection and not how I displayed them. It really hurt. I’ve been very depressed lately and one of the only things that makes me happy is my doll collection. They all mean so much to me.

She just doesn’t understand and honestly she’s always kind of rude when I talk about them.

I understand they’re not her thing, but I don’t get why she has to make me feel bad about them

Edit: since you guys want to see my set up, I posted a picture! I would love some feedback on how to make it look better
