The thrill of the hunt faded ages ago, with 100led UV Flashlights and a good crossbow firing bolts at 350 f/s there was no sport in hunting monsters anymore

And god that word, “monsters”

I wasn’t hunting the 10th reincarnation of Dracula after he sacrificed some poor girl to his mystic machines, I was “hunting” checks notes Conrad Fellows, vampire, for illegal bloodletting, Or flips page Jane-Anne Quarters, faefolk, for unlicensed trickery and a name repossession

It’s not a hunt, and they aren’t monsters, they’re idiots with warrants and I happen to be part of the family business, the most I do in the way of hunting is throwing some artifact at them and reading them the riot act… Gah! Boring, whatever, who’s on the docket today, it’sss-
