A month into college and I was already having second thoughts on the whole affair. It was crazy what they expected of you as well as the peer pressure, the social dynamics and learning to deal with a roommate. Though, that wasn’t quite so bad. Maggie wasn’t a bad roommate at all, all things considered, and seeing as she was an incredibly straight fairy it came with none of the worry of having some girl hitting on me in my own room.

Oh? Surprised? Don’t be. Magical folk have been living in our world for years now. It was quite common. It was normal to have your barista be a Minotaur and to have clothing designers be Orcs. Totally a normal sort of thing around these parts. People immigrated to and from these places just as easily as one would do from France to the States. It was an amazing time to be alive.

I was looking at some notes from psyche class (Jungian theory, you will be the end of me yet) and feeling frustrated when I looked up and saw her.

She was a beautiful woman. Amazing skin, curves that would make anyone squirm and don’t even get me started on those eyes. The horns were kinda hot too, if I was honest. This woman was a demoness and I had had a crush on her for weeks. She moved with confidence that was just unnerving to me but also beyond enticing.

I swallowed hard as her eyes turned my way and I tried to make it look like I hadn’t been staring. Demon kind always got a bad reputation and faced a lot of descrimination from those around them. I didn’t want her to think I was being- OH SHIT!

She was storming over, she looked mad. What was I going to do, to say? Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit…
