I had been adventuring for a few years now trying to make a name for myself and earn some extra coin. While growing up I had learned to become proficient in multiple different weapons from my father before he died. I tended to prefer pole arms such as glaives or spears. I had met a blacksmith that helped me make a special glaive that can collapse down and be used similar to a short sword if the battlefield didn’t allow for pole arms.

I was walking down a dirt path that split the trees that decorated this forest. I had my shortened glaive in my hand as I hum softly to myself while I keep waking. What I wouldn’t do for some company on these long trips between towns as they often get quite lonely. I finally come to a bit of a more open clearing with a few stumps around a bunt out fire place and some runes carved into the stumps. I let out a soft sigh of content as I knew that this was a place of rest that was built for travelers like me. The fire was still a bit warm so someone had gone through here recently. I gather some of the firewood that was around the small camp and start to light a small fire as the night was creeping up and it wouldn’t be smart to travel at night. As the fire starts up and get a pan out of my bag along with some food and let it start to cook as I go gather more firewood for the next party that comes through
