In the back of the cart was a massive cage with people already inside. To the people of Rio, it was clear what day it was: it was time for the slave auction.

People walked beside the cart and peered inside, simply looking at the merchandise. Like usual, there were a few humans, probably bandits, that had been captured. However, one passenger caught the eyes of many; it was a living, breathing male Drow. Many people had never seen anything like this before; Drow often lived underground in a massive cavern known as the Underdark, and some even lived on the surface away from most people. Before people could ask any questions, the cart made it to its destination, the auction square.

With a slight smile, the sharply dressed man got down from the cart before walking to the cage. Immediately he opened it up and dragged out the Drow by his chains. The dark elf bared his teeth as he looked over the crowd that had gathered. At this point, most of the people could see the variety of scars that littered the elf's chest that seemed to have been created by a large beast. "Ladies and gentlemen! Today I bring you a very rare treat! We have a genuine Drow! This lovely specimen was caught performing an assassination, so by law he was brought to me!" The auctioneer's voice was commanding as he looked over the crowd as he pushed the Drow onto the stage in nothing but a loincloth. "We shall start the bid for this fine creature at a whole 10 gold!"

This roleplay will start at the actual auction, where you will meet our Drow for the first time. Though this brings up a major question: who will you be exactly in this roleplay and how will it affect the actual story?

Well, for what races you can choose, just know all fantasy races are allowed, so go wild! Your race and character background will play a role in how the Drow will treat you and where the story will go. A few examples of races and backgrounds you can choose from are an Orc Shaman, a Centaur barmaid, an Elven princess, a Tiefling thief, a Goblin shopkeeper, and so many more not listed. Be sure to pick your race and background carefully!
