1602 of our Lord Jesus Christ - for two whole years have the ships traveled along the route to a faraway land. A land that is said to be shrouded in mist and mystery. Many folk from Europe would jump up to the opportunity, myself included. It seems rather funny, me as a soldier from the Dutch Republic so far from home. I would have laugh at such a state, but I've been attached as being guards to the explorers and merchants to our destination, Zipangni of the Far East. Just the name alone is surrounded by intrigue. I could still remember as we made landfall at the port center where we'll be staying. Well, it was more akin an island with a few large buildings with a small bridge connecting to the actual city for trading. We were given strict orders to stay on the island unless we were told to escort the merchants. I've traveled to the farthest corner of the earth only to be told to stay? Had I known that, I would have stayed in Europe.

Within the following days of getting used to the island, my duty came at me. Guard, guard, and more guarding. I should have known that I would be stuck here, led under the guise of an adventure to a far off distant land.

Well, that is until a particular day.

It was sunny out as I was standing guard at the bridge leading to the port when I could see a woman approaching me. She was dressed in the clothes of the locals were wearing, but with a more white with a few red accents here and there. I had to naturally raise an eyebrow at her appearance and why she was coming towards me. There was another guard next to me, but he seemed oblivious to her encroachment. Now I can certainly see her, but why can't he?

She walks past me, stopping for a moment as she inspects around her surroundings. When I turn my head to look at her, she snaps her head directly at me, locking our eyes together. I could feel myself losing all sense of my perception of the world around me.

Then, she spoke and I understood her. "There is a great tragedy beckoning for you. Come, come find me." She said before a pair of animal ears and a tail appear on her body and she simply disappeared from my vision.

The guard next to me noticed that I've been looking a space of nothing, gives me a questioning look as I return back to guarding, pondering about the woman's words. It's clear that she's not human, just enough to pass off as one, but what about the animal ears and the tail? With that thought in mind, I've started to wonder about what to do next.

Salutations, fair folks. Thanks for reading my prompt and I hope that it caught your attention. For this, I wish to play something a bit more historical with Japanese mythology attached to it. Indeed, I wish to play as a foreigner within the latter half of the Sengoku period, with you as a being from Japanese mythology that gained a curiosity. Who and what you would play as is largely up to you. However, if none of this is up for you, I am completely open to discussing about being set earlier and being a more native character.

Now, for this, even though I've written a good amount of text here, I am not expecting you to match or exceed such a number. If you can only write a paragraph, that's more than enough for me. However, please, please do not just write 1-3 sentences as they personally remove the experience for me and makes the roleplay go into a dull. Also, as with the nature of something like this, I would like for this roelplay to be more base on a long term.

Lastly for something to discuss, the smut. For this type of roleplay, I do wish that any scenes of sex to be more spread out and I also like for more of a chemistry-based deal. As in, I like for our characters to work within the realm of being closer than they have been before tying the knot together, if that makes any sense. When we do reach for the smut scenes, please know that I am align heavily with vanilla kinks. The usual of kissing, handholding, aftercare, just vanilla/wholesome positiveness.
