I've had mono for 6 months. I was finally starting to feel a bit better- could get outside independently and be outside for more than 15 minutes without needing to pass out- still far from being back at 100%, but it was definitely something! So, I started going out more with my wife (and yes we were practicing social distancing). I was gradually increasing activity for a few weeks. Then today, out of nowhere, I couldn't really move and have had to lie down all day. It feels much like how I did- fatigue-wise- about a month ago; I am worried that I will stay in this state for a while and that I have potentially even undone any work that I've completed thus far in my mono journey/recovery. Can anyone else speak to this? Is it "normal" to have off days even once you start feeling a bit better? Do you think it likely I will bounce back in a few days to where I was before I took this tumble? I have heard of people having setbacks/bad days even after gaining more strength but then bouncing back, so if anyone has ANY advice or shared experiences I would so love to hear your input!
