Tested Positive for EBV
Post Body

Hey! I’m F43, and have been having neck pain, radiating left arm pain(intermittently) and left neck lymph node swelling and pain. I also caught Covid in mid March which is kinda around the time the neck stuff became noticeable. The first time I went to the walk in clinic was about 2 weeks post Covid, and the Dr said there was nothing worrisome. Lymph node was swollen but no hard lumps etc. Fast forward a few weeks and still the same symptoms. No improvement. She said let’s test for Mono-which I thought was odd for someone in their 40’s haha Today I tested positive for EBV and the Dr said ok, it’s Mono, and there isn’t really anything we can do. I asked about the sore and swollen node but they said it can take months. Take Advil basically.

I have terrible health anxiety, and like many of you, I have gone down the rabbit hole of web searching. Having a difficult time believing that it’s not something sinister going on.

Can anyone share some positive outcomes? I feel like my neck is going to hurt forever 🤷🏻‍♀️Any supplements that have helped?

Thank you!!!
