Compounded monjauro efficacy/consistancy
Post Body

45years old-- 220lbs

I'm like 6 months in for taking monjauro from a compounded pharmacy. (Really 4, with about a 2 months off)

Started at 2.5mg and noticed some effects, but not too much. Gradually moved up to 6mg which made me have some dry heaves if I ate something too greasy or at a snack in the evening. 5mg was good for about a month. Lost about 1.5lbs a week without much effort. I was also doing some long bike rides and was having energy issues so put the monjauro on pause.

Started up again at 2.5, and took 5mg last week. Except for the 4 weeks toward the beginning- I notice very little effect. Zero to little weight loss, and much reduced sense of satiated. Or almost zero. In the past 3 weeks I've taken 2.5, 4, and 5, and lost 1lbs.

Question-- do you get used to the meds over time so need to up the dose until it is effective (I see many people state they are on 7.5)

Or is the compounding pharmacy giving me a placebo or weaker dosage. They changed shipping methods and some of my recent items came overnight shipping but with a melted freezer pack. Some of the others at the beginning still had a frozen freezer pack. They say it's fine at room temp for a long time.

Thanks for your input.
