Dell AW3420DW & DisplayCal Calibration

Post Body

Hi! I recently bought a new monitor Dell AW3420DW so decided this is the best time to get it done. I did a lot of research and settled for using DisplayCal and also got a i1Display Pro Plus to calibrate it.

But one value I am totally confused about is ‘Correction’ in its menu. Initially I just selected a colorimeter correction file from online. It gave me several options of Matrix/Spectral files and I selected a Matrix type file with description “i1 Display Pro, ColorMunki Display & Dell, Dell AW3420DW by 4KM (i1 Pro 2)”. I have only just realised that these files are for individual monitors and I should instead the choose the type of display I have here.

Now this is the link for my display specs https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/cc5e1b81 . I have been trying to read some stuff using Google search and have read this post https://hub.displaycal.net/forums/reply/13757/ but really can’t figure out which display to select as I just like OP of that thread would have selected W-LED as that is mentioned on displayspecifications website for my monitor. But from the thread linked above, that would be wrong. So could someone please help me out here?
