I just recently bought this monitor, and it’s a great upgrade. I went from a 24” 1080p 60Hz to this glorious 27” 1440p 144Hz, it’s amazing.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t come without its issues. I heard such great things about ELMB-Sync and how it almost completely annihilates the existence of motion blur. But, from my experience, motion blur is still very much there and worse than ever. The ghosting and blur is sickening. I’ve tried everything, adaptive sync on and off, ELMB on and off, different “trace free” settings (80 seems to be best), and yes, motion blur is turned off in NVIDIA control panel and in my games, as well as it being set to 144Hz and G-Sync is enabled.

So, what gives? Did I get a defective unit? Is anyone else having this problem on a monitor that’s supposed to eliminate it?

Any help at all would be very much appreciated!! :)

EDIT: I realize it could be that I’m just not used to 144Hz IPS displays. This is the first one I’ve ever witnessed one with my own eyes after all!
