I have recently bought an AW2721D but ever since switching from HDMI to DP I have seen a drop in quality. Black colours look like a mix of green to purple and words look like they have ghosting. I can also only run this monitor at 200hz and not 240hz with a DisplayPort 1.4 VESA certified cable. I have installed all the most recent Dell drivers and Nvidia drivers for my 980Ti, I've also enabled G-Sync for fullscreen mode too. How can I get to 240hz? Do I have to turn off 10-bit colour, if so how? Also, I'd like to be in sRGB mode too and disable any wide colour gamut or HDR for now, if anyone knows how to do any of these please reply.
