144 hz 1080p IPS monitors (e.g AOC 24g2) viable for photo/video editing as well?

Hey there! Being a gamer with a hobby (soon to be venturing on doing it as a job) on photography and videography, do you think it would be somewhat viable for using these types of gaming monitors? I mainly play CS:GO so the need of 144 hz would clearly benefit me. I've watched tons of reviews about these monitors but i cant seem to make up my mind about it clearly.

In case you might be wondering, I'm just using a low budget 1080p TN panel 60 hz monitor now that i just eyeball calibrated to work with my photos.
