Question/suggestions for new monitor

Currently using a Vizio 32" TV as my main monitor. I'm thinking of swapping over to a monitor with: 144 hz, 1440p (and mayyybe 21:9).
My main question is, is it worth swapping to (oe, can my cpu run) 1440p,or should I concentrate more on the change to 144 hz? My specs are:
2x 970 ftw sli
16 g ram
Amd 6120 (my biggest bottleneck)
WD black 4tb (this is my gaming drive)
