Looking for something that is decently priced under $250 with 1080 maybe 1440 if I can get one in that Range but the main purpose of the monitor is to read my online text books (which I "bought") and a nice side benefit would be gaming on my Xbox, since I saved $~400 on books and I absolutely hate reading on my laptop which is landscape, I decided to get a monitor for the money I would have spent on paper books, I have the desk space for a wide variety of sizes and it needs HDMI inputs, but being able to read the textbooks in a portrait manner is important as well as reading comfort
I think this one might be perfect but I'm still open to suggestions http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00K9NN1Y0/ref=mp_s_a_1_11?qid=1462900499&sr=8-11&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=monitor adjustable
Edit:budget was $250 not $2500
