Samsung Odyssey G7 28" 4K LS28BG700EPXXU - Won't turn back on after Windows turns screen off

Post Body

So when windows 11 turns off my display, when trying to wake the display back up its a lottery on whether the monitor responds or locks up and crashes the entire computer, also stops my other monitor waking up.

Manufacturer's drivers for both monitors installed, software on the monitor fully updated, monitor reset to factory settings and still no improvement. Tried 2 different displayport cables and 2 different ports on my GPU and still no improvement

Support from Samsung is frankly non existent, their "tech support" was "factory reset" it and then check the off timer is disabled and then they just gave up and told me to either return it for a replacement or a refund.

Not a good look Samsung, not a good look at all.

First collection is in 4 days time and then a week to 10 days before I get my money back, really not impressed at all and now averse to buying another Samsung monitor ever again (which is a shame as I really generally like Samsung products (had about 4 or 5 galaxy phones thus far, plus a tablet and always been happy with them).

The poor tech support who were utterly disinterested in actually finding out the cause of the issue (heck microsoft put way more effort in) really don't paint samsung in a good light at all. I would have at least hoped on a premium priced monitor that they would have at least tried to trace the root cause of this issue and maybe retain a customer, while avoiding the hassle of a return, when the issue could be a simple software issue - better for customer relations, better for the planet.

However instead they apparently have no interest in doing this and it appears this issue is likely related to https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/i01j6n/samsung_odyssey_g7_doesnt_turn_on_when_poweringup/ which dates back 5 years now, so something isn't right.

Anyone has any ideas or suggestions about a possible solution / fix please let me know
