Hello I have a bosc about a month old, and my question is when will he start digging his own burrows.
Post Body

My little guy (havent sexed him yet) is named monty. He is about 7-8 inches or so, he's in a 4×1 tank (yes he will be moved to a bigger encloser when he's older.) that has about 6 inches of a rainforest blend dirt. I went with the rainforest blend so it will keep water and well with humidity. He prefers to be in the warmer end of his tank sits about 95 while the cooler sits about 87.

Anyway I noticed he'd tried digging in a corner but it wasn't a burrow so much as he was trying to get through the invisible wall. So I built a small burrow over there. He immediately went to it and stayed there all day. (I know hes a baby and is afraid of the world ive been trying work with him on his terms he's getting better) over the course of a week he slowly made it fall bit by bit. So I rebuilt it, but i waited to see if he'd try to dig deeper. This has happened a few times and he has made no attempts to dig his own burrows. Should I stop doing this? is 6in to little dirt for his size? Any input on this is appreciated, google has been very little help.

I apologize for the formatting and any spelling errors im on mobile.
