So uh context, racing games/sims are hard for me to get into because I am picky af and I feel like we haven't had anything good in almost two decades. I'm a huge car enthusiast, used to build/race them, and also been an automotive photographer for a while. I'm looking for something to help me escape reality and a lot of the newer automotive multiplayer games just really miss the mark regardless of how great they look aesthetically.
Somehow, MSC and Mon Bazou have completely escaped my radar, while neither is necessarily pleasant to look at, both have touched a dream game of mine being something where you start as a nobody from nothing and then work your way into building your dream car/garage, etc. An open-world game where you share that experience with others.
While neither seem to have MP support, they both look like they're headed in the right direction for me. However, I am hesitant.
I realize I am in a Mon Bazou subreddit so people may be a bit biased but I wanted to get thoughts from people playing it. Some of the things making me hesitant are:
- Lack of vehicle options
- Some of the more lucrative jobs being growing weed (it doesn't bother me, just bored of that after playing GTAV)
- Non MP Support (not a game killer but I do need some social aspect personally)
- Most of the garages and houses I've seen all look very similar so housing/garage customization seems very limited.
Anyway, tell me why you like the game, and maybe share some photos or experiences, I wanna dive into something like this but want to make sure I am not just adding another game to my Steam library just to stop playing it after a few hours.
