I’m 8.5 months in - FTM. They change but right now I have two…
Turning the ceiling fan on so I can clip her nails. Don’t know how long it will work but for now it’s a life (and sanity) saver.
Memorizing a few of her books so I can keep reading when she’s eating the corner, won’t let me turn the page, or I want to turn the lights out or get her to smile, calm her down, etc. I can just recite on command. I had heard this recommendation somewhere else and kind of brushed it off. And I didn’t mean to memorize them but when you read “Hippos Go Berzerk” several dozen times a week you just know it one day.
So, what’s your Mom Hack/super power?
