For all the unsolicited advice we are bombarded with, what's the useful parenting info you learned late/the hard way?
Post Body

This is half vent, half actual question. I learned way later than I should have that my baby is consuming WAY less than they want her to be at her age (despite being in doctors offices all the time), so now her medical team is kicking into high gear to correct this/compensate for the deficiency, and I feel like we could have avoided the haste if we had some kind of chart. We figured babies eat when they're hungry so if they're feeding every 2 hours, sleeping well, etc, they must be getting enough. Nope. Also figuring out something as simple as what bottle to get was much harder than it should have been. And this is after getting hammered for 9 months with baby rearing content and ads on every app I use daily.
