This morning I had the most absurd phone call ever. Like it was a huge wtf moment to me. My kiddos qualify for free lunch, for some reason we kept getting bills emailed about my oldest. 2 charges we understood but it didn’t account for the rest. Tell me why these mfrs are charging a child 75 cents to take fruit at breakfast. Fruit!! Not extra fruit, not the toast and anything else to go with it just a piece of fruit for breakfast. What in the actual hell. My child wants a banana for breakfast instead of a whole ass tray and you’re charging him 75 cents?!!? Make this make sense to me especially since A) it’s still breakfast should still be free and B) all parents got an email at the beginning of the year about the free fruit and vegetable program for kids!!
