Am I just really paranoid? School wants to fingerprint kids to streamline lunch
Post Body

I need some perspective on a new school policy. They want to fingerprint all the kids and use the prints instead of a card, etc. I can see how this would be really helpful for school staff, and parents wouldn't have to replace tye lunch cards that kids lose.

However, something maked me really uncomfortable about the idea of fingerprinting my kid. Plus, if we opt him out, we'll be the ones making everyone's life more difficult for maybe not great reasons.

Does anyone here have experience with this?
