Welp…. We just scared our child for life 😂
Post Body

So tonight me and my hubby were doing some “coloring” behind closed doors… welp my 6 year old decides to just walk in… I was shocked, embarrassed, and mad all in the span of 2 seconds.

For months now I have been telling both my oldest children to knock on a closed doors before entering… and my 6 year old just learned the importance of that lesson…

How do I even deal with this situation? Pretend it didn’t happen? Give her the super young kid version of “when a daddy loves a mommy….”?

I’m so at a loss… 🤦🏻‍♀️

Edit: So I have a lot of comments about “why was she up?” Or “Why didn’t you lock the door?”

So let me say that this happened at 11pm last night. I put her to bed at 930pm. She hasn’t gotten up in the middle of the night in like 2 years. So it was a shocking surprise to see her up.

Also I was about to go to bed myself… and well… things just got heated out of nowhere.

Secondly, my door is broken. Even when it is locked.. with enough force put on the door you can pop it open, but at 11 pm you don’t expect you 6 year old to come in when you put them to bed and they were dead to the world by 10 😂
