Post Body

Oh my god. In the last month, my youngest (my older daughter just turned 4), is just on a rampage. Taking things from the older, hitting, pushing, fussiness, waking up constantly at night to nurse, doesn’t want to eat her food, wants to nurse perpetually throughout the day or be held, lots of “no!”, general retaliation and non-compliance. She’s a complete rage baby. Before a month ago, she was barely nursing at all, day or night and only woke up 1 or 2 times at night to nurse and would let me lay her back down in her crib.

My older daughter never went through a stage like this. I’m currently almost 8 weeks pregnant so the morning sickness and exhaustion is kicking in and I think I’m going to have to wean her sooner rather than later so she can attach to a different comfort activity/item. My older one is just pushed and pushed by the younger to the point she has to scream to get the younger to let up and leave her alone. It’s so frustrating. I’m pretty available to provide comfort and meet emotional needs but I’m not sure why she’s having such a regression and attitude problem 😔
