So this is gross, and kinda funny, but I’m officially at the point where I just don’t care anymore.

I’m having some kind of issue with continuing spotting after my last period, and was laying in my 11mo’s bed this morning. She’s got a tooth coming in and woke up angry, and when I picked her up I could feel blood start to run down my leg. The only thing nearby was a stack of clean diapers so I had to make do and shove one down there one handed to make it downstairs without a bloodbath.

She wasn’t feeling the bottle, and I spent the next hour or so watching Mulan and rocking her. I eventually get her back to sleep and take her to her room, then go pee and a realize I still have the diaper on like one of those giant postpartum pads. Then I hear my daughter start to fuss again so I just get myself situated again and go about my day.

By now I’ve changed to appropriate menstrual attire. The diaper was really worked in a pinch lmao but now I’m sitting here laughing about all the crazy little things like that you just do to get through the task when you have a little one. Please tell me I’m not alone 🙈😂
