So I was talking to a few of my closer friends, from a local mom’s club, this morning while on our walk and the topic of turn ons came up. My friends went through the standard grey sweatpants type stuff and I brought up my husband doing random fatherly acts.
For example last night at bed time our 8 year old daughter (complete daddy’s girl) was having a small break down and was scared to sleep on her room alone because it was too dark but the night light made it too bright. Which honestly probably wasn’t the case, she’s been sleeping in our room for a little over a month due to a surgery that’s caused her to be unable to walk and it’s alot easier to get her to the master bathroom from the master bedroom than it is to get hubby or I from the master bedroom to her room then to her bathroom and back to her room without injuring anyone involved in the affair. She was seemingly pitching a fit because she didn’t wanna sleep in her room alone tonight.
After I sat in bed for awhile listening to her fake crying, through the baby monitor, she abruptly stopped. Like a light switch had flipped from crying to not crying instantly. It was awkward so I went o investigate and found my husband laid on our daughters bed, rubbing her head and singing softly to her. Initial instinct was to be appalled cause this man hasn’t done this for me in over a year, but seeing him in Dadzone comforting our daughter made me want to jump on top of him right then and there.
I explained this to my friends and they said that it was weird that things like that would turn me on. So I ask you moms, is that normal or have I developed some weird dad fetish?
