It’s really hard not having a village.
Post Body

My daughter’s daycare is closed tomorrow. This was a planned closure and I asked my sister over a month ago if she would watch her so I could go to work. My sister doesn’t work and her kids are school-aged. She agreed and I planned on this. I texted her today to ask where we were meeting up and she told me she’s not taking my daughter tomorrow. I’m so upset. She left me with no notice and I can’t find anyone to watch her. Drop-in care doesn’t exist in my area and I have no family who can help. Our parents are gone. I’m so upset because I dropped EVERYTHING for YEARS for her kids. And the one time I asked for help and relied on her she shits right on me. I’m going to get in trouble at work because now I have to call out. It’s not like I can bring my 2 year old to work, I’m a medical assistant. I’m just so mad. I thought I could rely on my sister.
