How often did you give your newborn a bath?

My LO is 2.5 weeks and I’m not really sure how often we should be bathing him. I’ve heard varying opinions from family and friends. Is there a “right answer” or chart based on age that I should be following?

He really doesn’t seem to get dirty quickly to me; he hasn’t had a diaper rash, has clear skin, and no weird smells. We’ve bathed him 3 times since he’s been home but after reading other posts I’m wondering if we should be bathing him more often? He just doesn’t get dirty really so I don’t know why he would need more baths and I don’t want to dry out his skin unnecessarily.
