Post Body

Posting for a friend as she doesn't have reddit and doesn't want to create an account for one issue.

I used content warning as there is small violence towards a child.

Her (34f) daughter (9f) came home from school saying kids after ostracizing her from a game, pushed her off a tire (used as playground equipment) and hit her with "pegs". She has multiple scratches, but no bruises are visible (yet, she usually takes 24h to show most bruises so we will see). Supposedly, there is a "ring leader" who has been an ongoing issue since last year.

She already spoke to the supervisor of the after-school program and when she gets home she is emailing the teacher.

I suggested she requests the teacher separates the two when ever possible and or request a meeting with the parents.

Is there anything either of us is missing that she should do to help her kiddo? We are in NS, Canada if that effects your answer.

Kiddo is being brave but obviously stressed about the situation and is starting to not like school.
