My mum suddenly passed in 2017 so I can’t pick up the phone to update her on my girls. I just need her to know that her eldest granddaughter competes today in her first level 3 cheer competition. That activity we thought was a flash in the pan. She coached her little ones yesterday to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their respective divisions yesterday and they all won bids (no clue what that means but I’ll find out). Cheer has given her the drive for her life. I wish you were here to share in this. We could watch through our fingers together as she goes to break her nose for the seventh time (that I know about) if her flier falls. It’s events like this that really make me miss you.
