Reverse Spherification

I have a friend who had surgery and isn't able to eat a lot so their protein intake is very low. I'm hoping to help and bought the stuff to make little pods. I know you can make pretty much anything into a pod but i was curious if anyone has any experience using protein powder to make protein pods? So far i was thinking of buying Isopure and adding protein powder. Any advice would help and please let me know if this post would work better somewhere else.
