Bad smelling/quick growing mold on bathtub floor?

This will happen maybe once a month or so, but sometimes I'll go to take a shower and there's a washcloth on the tub floor. I remove it and there's a dark blotch in its place. Then the room is filled with a sewage like odor.

It's obviously the washcloth staying wet and being in contact with it, but it shows up really fast. Like, 24-36 hours fast. It's also really tough to clean up. Bleach and scrubbing with a bristle brush, and it still takes a fair bit of elbow grease.

Should I be worried of another source of mold in the bathroom causing it? I've never encountered such foul smelling mould before.
