Question about storing boxes that have been in a mold-afflicted room for a while.
Post Body

Hi, I hope you are doing well. I am having to put all my things away, as there is mold in the walls of my room and my belongings are in the way of repair work. Among my belongings, are things that go in cardboard boxes for storage, like figures, models, etc. If I don't keep those boxes dry, are they going to grow mold on them from spore contamination? Should I wipe down the figures and models before putting them away to get off spores? What should I wipe with that won't affect the paint or plastic. One of the affected walls has been open for several months, so I worry there are tons of spores on all my things. Do I need to throw away my bed, couch, etc.? Will the paper covers or my video games be contaminated? I feel pretty overwhelmed by the whole situation.
