Alex and Sanjay

I am currently watching the episode where Alex and Sanjay are competing for valedictorian and Sanjay's parents make that remark about how impressive Alex is given her background and I really just want to scream at them that in reality, she is more impressive BECAUSE of her background.
Sanjay is successful because his parents pushed him to be. Alex is successful despite her parents, who at times actively tried to get her to work less in school and have more fun. So really, Alex is better than Sanjay.
