I feel like the production quality of the show of the later seasons is off. They don’t seem to leave their homes as much, the camera quality is more soap opera-ish, the homes interiors feel more like sets - they seemed more real in earlier seasons. Obviously the script writing wasn’t as strong but I think if it had been filmed the same way throughout its run it wouldn’t have seemed as bad. I’m guessing cameras were switched, sets were reworked, not as much budget for on location shoots, maybe show-runners were different. Just my random thoughts.
Interesting take. I’m on a rewatch now somewhere around season 4.. will start keeping my eye out for this. Curious what others believe as well.
