I’ve been playing CoD for almost twenty years and I generally skip the killcams. But even when I don’t, I have no idea when a player killed me by cheating. I’m reading about you guys spotting cheaters from the way they drop shot or create fake accounts on free do weekends etc. and as a veteran of the game I feel like an idiot because every time I get killed I just assume the guy got a drop on me.
Sometimes I’ll question it, for example when I’m getting sniped four times in a row from someone camping in Wasteland, who is seemingly in the perfect spot where they can’t get shot, and finishes the game 43:2 with three chopper gunner call ins, but I just figure it’s a more skilled player.
My KD hovers around 1, 1.10, and of course I have games where I go 5 and 17, but then I have games where I go 30 and 6. I don’t cheat, I don’t know how to cheat, I don’t care enough to do it, but I wonder how many of you think because I have a wild match with thousands of more points than anyone else that I must be cheating?
