So apparently we can cascade into a one-sided Warp World in Modern now (with the help of shardless agent, too)
Could there be a way to break this and create a combo deck that wins on the spot whenever you cast any cascade card? I have been brewing such a list but it's mostly unplayable trash at the moment. I feel like there could be something, though...
Requirements/ideas:
Deck can't have anything below 4CMC except for cascade cards and the Glimpse of Tomorrows
Could use MDFCs or split cards to mess with cascade advantageously, like using a super expensive MDFC such as Jadzi with a useful cheaper back half (?)
Needs to ideally have a certain or very high win chance if you cast any cascade creature - this is aided by cascade and fetches thinning the deck with every warp world spin, and release to the wind composite golem giving you more spins.
Biblioplex Assistant keeps the machine running by putting the warp worlds back on top to cascade into again
Using lots of mountains to potentially do something with Valakut triggers
Dwarven Mine and Khalni Garden make tokens to fuel increasingly powerful warp world triggers, as does the dragon
Current wincon is Agent of Treachery, but maybe there is a better one...
Looking for advice/theories/etc... Yes, I know this is currently unplayable hot garbage, but I want to see if it's possible to make this take off somehow. The idea of only needing to cast a single cascade guy to win the game is super appealing, you could mull all the way down to 2/3 and do it. Thoughts?
