Up to this point I have only played EDH and a bit of Arena. My playgroup is looking to build a modern deck or two for events now that our lgs will be hosting actual events. Here is what I am looking for:

Initial deck cost under $75. I dont have much money to throw around at the moment, so I want something that can win a few games on a low budget.

Abillity to upgrade. I don’t want one of those super cheap jank decks that can’t be upgraded in the future (like a treasure hunt deck with 48-52 lands or something like that.

Main option I am looking at is Red Deck Wins, but I want a couple of options to play around with. If my EDH decks say anything about my play styles, I have Zaxara X Spells, Thallise WB tokens, Mono Blue Stax with Cosima, God of the Voyage, and Boros Artifacts with Osgir. Im open to any color combos, but I tend towards going wide over instant win combos.
